Cardinus teams up with Magnitude Injury Reduction software

Magnitude’s patented micro-break software helps computer users to pace their work through gentle reminders when the risk exposure exceeds configurable limits. Research over the last 10 years has shown that these brief pauses in keying/mousing (micro-breaks) help reduce the incidence of computer related injuries. In fact ErgoEnterprise is the world's only micro-break software scientifically proven by Cornell University to help reduce injuries.

Now Cardinus has teamed up with Magnitude to offer ‘ErgoEnterprise’ alongside our leading ‘Workstation Safety Plus’ office ergonomics training and risk assessment software. The logic for the partnership is clear - Workstation Safety Plus helps identify users at risk, ErgoEnterprise seeks to reduce injuries within the ‘at risk’
user group.

ErgoEnterprise includes:
  • ErgoSentry - micro-breaking with 5 standard or employee configurable alert thresholds.

  • ErgoSURE - postural assessment tool utilizing RULA (rapid upper limb assessment).

  • ErgoManager Analyzer - decision support analysis tool.

Workstation Safety Plus UPDATE

Workstation Safety Plus (WSP) is part of an integrated e-learning/risk assessment framework
that is shared by all Cardinus solutions. This framework has been updated to include some useful new features:
  • Course tutorial - provides a quick guide to the user interface, making it even easier to use the course.

  • Quick support - clicking this button at any time in the course sends support staff an email detailing the type of browser, screen resolution, page, and specific information on the problem.

  • Amended WSP content in line with revised HSE guidance (UK version only).
As Workstation Safety Plus has developed, automated email has become an ever more important tool in chasing employees to complete the training and following up outstanding issues.

Workstation Safety Plus’ administration system (PACE) includes a fully featured email engine which now includes the following important enhancements:
  • Automated emails can now be sent in HTML format. This allows you to embed graphics and logos as well as enhance the look of the emails with color and different font styles. You can even create email newsletters – like this!

  • Email preview facility. This ensures that you (as a manager/administrator), have the option to approve or reject any automated/bulk email before it is sent.
