How it works
Each student is provided with a learning pack including their personal
interactive CD-ROM. After training the CD becomes a permanent reference
source. The course is used in bite-sized chunks either at home or at work.
Just a few hours each week will rapidly lead to certification
(subject to successful completion of project and final examination).
During the interactive training, students complete a written project,
fully supported by their course mentor. (Course price includes 3 month’s
mentoring and technical support).
Finally, students attend an examination centre to sit their final assessment.
Assessments take just an hour to complete. The single course fee
includes learning pack, mentoring & support for 3 months,
final assessment, project & exam marking and certificate fee.
Interactive training
Interactive Managing Safely is equivalent to a 4 or 5 day IOSH accredited classroom based course.
The course makes extensive use of interactive sequences thereby involving the user and encouraging higher retention of information.
Although the course is based around the CD, reading materials can be printed off to be studied 'offline' and access to a 'mentor' is provided throughout the duration of the course. This hybrid approach combines the best of all worlds -personal contact, computer based interactivity and the flexibility to study where and when it suits the individual.
