Task Observer Training Course

With a Driver Training Programme established, there is a need to provide selected individuals (e.g. H&S Manager / Fleet Administrator) with the skills to support the company driver training programmeand the staff for whom they have responsibility.

It is crucial that the driver training programme and its purposes are cascaded down through the company. Task Observer Training is a way of ensuring that there are individuals within your organisation who have a full understanding and appreciation. They may also be utilised for a level of risk assessment or ‘mentoring’ of drivers whom it is felt need assistance in reaching acceptable and safe standards of driving.

To develop the assessment skills of a supervisor or in-house trainer (Task Observer) and prepare him/ her to undertake internal driving assessments on colleagues or potential employees in support of the company driver training programme.

Please Note: Any person providing driver training for reward in the UK must be a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). This course is NOT designed to meet that objective. Its aim is to train participants in risk assessment techniques.

2 consecutive days at any mutually agreed location in the UK with a training ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, dependant on your needs.
