This service is to ensure that your Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) reflects your company objective.

A key component of an effective environment, health and safety management system is a process to audit the system as a whole. This ensures that the EHSMS continues to accurately reflect the activities and culture of the organisation.

The audit process can be designed to incorporate various levels such as: „„

  • Level 1 – local self audit. „„
  • Level 2 – 2nd party audit, e.g. by auditors from a sister company. „„
  • Level 3 – 3rd party audit by a competent external organisation.

Audit frequencies are determined by the inherent risk of a site’s activities and take into consideration the results of previous audits. This process could also support certification to ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.

As well as designing the process for you, Cardinus would be able to carry out the 3rd party audits and train your own internal auditors.
