Safe Driving Plus is an interactive risk reduction system for commercial fleets, designed to change behaviour and reduce accidents and injuries. Using Cardinus’ unique ‘Total Risk Reduction’ methodology, Safe Driving Plus provides each individual driver with the information they need to stay safe and a personal action plan to reduce their risks. Risk assessment Safe Driving Plus provides a complete online risk assessment module to help your organisation improve fleet risk and comply with your legal risk assessment requirements. Having completed the risk assessment, depending on risk, drivers can then continue to the e-learning module or be put forward for in-vehicle awareness training. Risk and training/e-learning data is stored and managed using the PACE administration system. E-learning Changing the behaviour of drivers is not easy – years of bad driving habits cannot be undone overnight. So Safe Driving Plus utilises a unique phased programme - every month, each driver completes a short training module (less than 10 minutes), constantly reinforcing key safety messages and your fleet policies. The cumulative effect is better awareness of the issues - and behaviour change. Personal Work Sheet and User Action Report The Personal Work Sheet gathers ‘attitudinal’ and ‘behavioural’ information. Linked to the User Action Report this provides a comprehensive action plan which your drivers use to reduce their own risks. All the information, tools, training and exercises are highly configurable and can be customized to each organization's specific requirements.
