Or you might prefer to simply define it as: The rate of wear and tear of the body systems caused by everyday life.
Whatever definition you prefer, we must understand what the stressors are within our respective workplaces before we can begin to control them. Once understood a holistic plan needs to be created, involving employees at all levels, and communicated to the workplace. The plan needs to be seen as a long-term project and should be regularly reviewed.
