Andy Hawkes, CEO, Cardinus Risk Management
Andy has been CEO of Cardinus since 2006. Prior to joining, Andy founded Evolution Underwriting Group, a UK SME insurance operation, was Assistant General Manager at Travelers Insurance UK, and before that was Ecommerce and Global Marketing Director at Independent Insurance plc. He is Past President of the International Institute for Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Past President of the Insurance Institute of Peterborough and was a trustee of The Alchemy Charitable Trust and The Insurance Charities. He has also been a non executive director of a number of companies.
Jamie Truscott, Chairman of Cardinus Risk Management Limited and Managing Director of Cardinus Property
Chairman of Cardinus Risk Management Limited and Managing Director of Cardinus Property and Insurance. He pioneered the property and risk surveying business in Cardinus, using his experience as a broker and underwriter to develop an on-site and software reporting system to replace the ageing market processes. He was previously founder Chairman of Euclidian plc and has been a broker at Marsh and Willis and both a Lloyds Underwriter and a chairman and CEO of a Lloyds’ Managing Agency.
Jon Abbott, Director, Cardinus Risk Management Limited.
Jon has more than 15 years of experience in ergonomics, safety, and occupational health. Over that period, he has worked with a wide variety of organizations in the private and public sectors by providing a full range of risk management solutions including software, e-learning, and consultancy. Jon was instrumental in setting up Cardinus operations in America and Holland and is currently responsible for the global strategy at Cardinus. Jon is passionate about the health and well-being of young people, and he is actively working to protect the workforce of the future. This motivation drove him to set up Healthy Working MOVE in 2013, an award-winning ergonomics program specifically designed for kids.
David Tibbals, Chief Operating Officer, Cardinus Risk Management
David was appointed Finance Director of Cardinus Risk Management in 2013 and promoted to the role of COO in July 2017. He previously worked at the London offices of THB and was the Group Financial Planning Manager and held a number of other group company directorships. His background is in financial services and is a qualified accountant.
David is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations and brings a unique combination of skills to this role.
Jayde Kelly, UK Sales Director, Cardinus Risk Management
Jayde Kelly is the UK Sales Director at Cardinus Risk Management. He has worked for Cardinus for the past 16 years working closely with clients to ensure our products and services meet their individual requirements.
Marcus Noble, Customer Services Director, Cardinus Risk Management
Marcus has worked at Cardinus for over 20 years and is Cardinus’ Customer Services Director. He is responsible for the Project Management and successful creation, implementation and launch of risk assessment and e-learnings programs that comply with national regulations or help to reduce healthcare costs in non-regulated countries.
In addition, Marcus is responsible for a global team that work with many hundreds of organizations in the private and public sector providing a full range of risk management solutions including software, e-learning, practical training and consultancy.
Andy Neal, Associate Director, Global Security Solutions, Cardinus Risk Management
Andy provides a range of clients with training in corporate travel safety, lone working, hostile environments, conflict management and behaviour profiling.
Throughout a career spanning 24 years, Andy has a proven track record in delivering outcomes across regional, national, and international projects in partnership with Government, Military, and non-Government agencies. Highly regarded in his field, Andy has extensive experience, specialist training and a unique style of delivery that gets results.
He has designed and delivered strategies on counterterrorism, lone working, global travel safety, personal security operations training and procedures.
Peter Kinselley, Associate Director, Health and Safety Consultancy, Cardinus Risk Management
Peter has extensive experience in developing customized Health, Safety, Well-being and Environmental programs, which have been accredited to ISO45001. These programs have been developed to meet the organization’s risk management and people needs while considering the impact upon local legislation requirements. He has developed and implemented behavioral safety, competency-based training and well-being programs in a range of international organisations.
Matt Champ, Associate Director – IT Operations, Cardinus Risk Management
Matt has had numerous roles with Cardinus. His first role was as a 1st line support technician in the support team, as part of this role he dealt with end user queries as well as maintaining and building systems for customers. Matt moved from 1st line support into 2nd line support where he dealt with more complex queries that were escalated through the support process. This role then led Matt to become a lead support technician which eventually led to becoming the Support Desk Manager. Two years ago, he took on a new challenge at Cardinus and become the Associate Director – IT Operations, which meant that he oversaw the test team, developers and business analysts. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining our existing software and developing any software required.
Steve Johnson , Deputy Managing Director of Property & Insurance, Cardinus Risk Management
Steve has over 35 years of risk management and insurance experience including previous and varied roles at Royal & Sun Alliance and Business Safety Systems. Steve is an expert on the technical insurance related aspects of RCA work and lectures on the subject to both the property management and the Insurance markets.
Hollie Woodhall, Global Head of Managed Services, Cardinus Risk Management
Hollie leads our managed services programs. Hollie joined Cardinus having worked for the UK’s regulator the Health & Safety Executive and is responsible for the creation and on-going development of this service.
Hollie specialises in employee engagement. She has been instrumental in helping customers create or relaunch ergonomics programs that deliver strong outcomes. Many customers have seen significant improvements in compliance, risk profiles and cost savings because of Hollie’s work.
Claudia Calder, Health & Safety Consultant, Cardinus Risk Management
Claudia brings with her a unique set of skills, specialising in medical, biological and laboratory safety. A PhD, she has a rich academic background which she applies to safety, health and environmental consultancy.
She’s an engaging and knowledgeable trainer, having delivered health and safety training to organisations across the UK.
